PRINCE2 Certification

PRINCE2 (Projects in Controlled Environments) is a process-based approach for project management providing an easily tailored and scalable method for the management of all types of projects. The methodology is based on seven principles, seven themes and seven processes and is used extensively by the UK government and in many other industries.

For those looking to gain the PRINCE2 Foundation qualification, you can attend a training course with PM4Success International (an accredited training organization). This will typically include a three-day course of classroom-based training, followed by an online exam. During the course, you will learn the principles and processes of the PRINCE2 methodology as well as gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of each role in a project.

Once you have completed the training, you can then take the PRINCE2 Foundation exam. This is a multiple-choice exam that assesses your understanding of the PRINCE2 methodology and its application to project management. The exam consists of 75 multiple-choice questions, and you will need to achieve a score of 55% or higher to pass. Once you have passed the exam, you will receive a PRINCE2 Foundation certification, which is valid for three years.

In addition to the PRINCE2 Foundation qualification, there is also the PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification. This qualification is designed for those who have already achieved the Foundation certification and wish to deepen their knowledge and experience in the PRINCE2 methodology.

The PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification is achieved through completing a two-day classroom-based course and passing the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam. The exam is made up of eight multiple-choice questions and you will need to achieve a score of 65% or higher to pass.
